Hermès Della Cavalleria Elan Shoulder Bag

Della Cavalleria is a 17th-century equestrian manual preserved in the Émile Hermès Museum. Once named after a silk scarf, the Maison now offers a women’s bag with the same name, a true innovation. The jewellery clasp follows the contours of a horse’s bit to close the flap and shape the body of the bag, echoing the shape of the Hermès saddle. The metal buckle at the bottom connects the lock to a simple mechanism, allowing for easy and sophisticated opening and closing. The mini version has an adjustable shoulder strap and can be carried on the shoulder or crossbody.
